I just got this in the mail yesterday and have it already finished so that my 8 yr old daughter (who has been prodding me to finish it) can start it. I'm happy with the ending but have so many more questions. Hopefully there are more books to follow? My daughter enjoyed the first two so much, we bought the series for one of our nieces whose Dad asked for good character books for her. The thing that really struck me in this book-well, the only thing I can mention here without spoilers-is the concept of family, and I agree with where the author went. Looking forward to discussing this with my daughter. I would especially recommend this book to preteens who have been adopted. They will find characters here who understand them, and perhaps come to see how precious they are to their family.

It's a good book but absolutely not worth the price. You get very little answers from it.
...a little disappointed in the ending... maybe there's another sequel to come.
I love this series and author! ANYONE will enjoy this series - no matter their age. It keeps the reader's attention and has neat twists and turns...and didn't expect the ending of the series. Great work Trisha!
Not just this book but the whole series. I loved how the author left lots of things so secret and then revealed it later it was filled with so much mystery and you come so close to the characters this book is especially good for people who are around "thirteen" ☺ I'm usually am not a very fast reader but this book has a cliff hanger at the end of every chapter and makes you want to read more
This book did not measure up to the excitement and intrigue of the two previous books but perhaps that is because I wanted it to end differently.
I'm an adult and I was completely drawn into these characters! I was just so taken in by the adventure and the danger that Avery faced I couldn't book my kindle down. It was a great book and a wonderful way to end such a delightful series. Just to simply put it, I loved this story!! 💖
